When does billing start?
Billing begins 30 days after you sign up — that gives you a full month to get your hardware set up, upload your inventory, customize your branding, and start processing transactions before your first charge. No credit card surprises on day one.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime from the HIVE console. Upgrades take effect immediately and we'll prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing saves you 20% across the board. You'll pay for the full year up front and lock in your rate. Monthly billing is more flexible — pay as you go and cancel anytime with no penalty.
Do I need to buy specific hardware?
No. Honeybee is hardware-agnostic — run it on iPads, Android tablets, Samsung Kiosks, the Oona 22, the Oona 8, or bring your own device. We support a range of price points so you can start small and scale up as your business grows.
Is the Worker plan price per kiosk or per account?
The Worker plan is $29.99 per active kiosk per month. So if you run 3 kiosks across two locations, your bill is $89.97/month (or $71.97/month on annual billing). Volume discounts kick in automatically once you cross 10 kiosks — that's where the Enterprise conversation typically begins.
Which payment processors do you support?
Out of the box we integrate with Clover, Datacap, Charge Anywhere, and eHopper. The Enterprise plan also opens up custom processor integrations — if you have a relationship with another processor, our team can usually accommodate.
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fees on Starter or Worker plans. Enterprise customers who request on-site implementation or custom template development will receive a one-time scoping quote separately.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. Monthly plans cancel at the end of your current billing period — no questions asked, no termination fees. Annual plans run for the term you committed to. Just email us or cancel directly in the HIVE console.
